Artics

We have 44 tonne articulated units; all are regularly maintained and inspected. Our vehicles are designed around the diversity of the company allowing them to cope with a number of different operations and tasks we handle. We have a number of double drive units which enable them drive off road e.g. landfill sites and 6x2 units thus ensuring maximum payload when running on motorways.

All have sleeper-cabs and a squad of fully trained well experienced drivers.

Curtain Siders / Flat Trailers

We have around 20 curtainsider trailers, varying in height and can be supplied with a tail-lift or a Moffat Mounty should our customers require one. Our Curtainsiders carry palletised goods, but can also carry tyres, fridges and any other goods. We provide haulage for major suppliers of White Goods, Industrial Appliances, food drink, general wholesale supplies and we specialise in Timed Deliveries.

We also operate a 45 ft Flat Trailer for specialised deliveries.

Tipping Trailers

We have an ever growing fleet of tipping trailers, with 35 currently in operation. Carrying anything from coal to sand, muck to aluminium scrap these versatile trailers are suitable for numerous jobs, combining the ease of loading over the top, with the quickness and efficiency of tipping out the back door. The advantages of these trailers are the capacity they are able to carry.

The tippers are rugged bulk-alloy bodies with top hinged doors, on board weighers and a squad of fully trained well experienced drivers.

Waste

In a bid to stay ahead of the competition Yuill & Dodds Ltd have invested in some of the newest waste trailers on the market, ejectors and the new walking floor trailers to name a few. As the names imply the ejector ejects the load out of the rear of the trailer, and the walking floor trailer, walks the load out of the rear. Both trailers have a wide array of uses and with health and safety playing a big part in disposing the goods we can ensure that the load is delivered without the risk of a topple accident occurring. 

Rigid Tippers

Yuill & Dodds Ltd specialise in bulk rigid tipper movements. No job is too big or small and our fleet can be booked on a daily basis or on a longer term contract.

The fleet of 32 tonne vehicles all have on board weighers and easy sheet systems ensuring maximum payload is carried at all times, minimising the number of vehicle movements, which is BETTER FOR YOU.................BETTER FOR US..............& BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT..........................
